This new role was developed to help fuel Servion’s continued growth and to help the organization achieve its goal of being the most relevant solution for credit unions, smaller banks and financial institutions around the country. This new position also highlights Servion’s commitment to putting its values into action, serving members and employees with passion, embracing change, and delivering the latest solutions and best customer service to help members achieve their growth and business objectives.
As an initial area of focus, Nowak is overseeing a pilot project around the implementation of a new project management software across the organization. This resource will help Servion teams and business units better collaborate on projects and reduce duplication. Over time, appropriate Servion members will be invited to join online teams to collaborate on a variety of projects including the creation of Mortgage and Realty webinars, sponsorships for Servion’s annual golf tournament or coordination of speakers at the annual Lending Conference. Nowak is also overseeing the rollout of the Sagent loan servicing software platform to members which is expected in August. Sagent is a more user-friendly, robust portal for members that can be used to share payments, review reports and statements in a more user-friendly format.
With a passion for the power of metrics, Nowak is also overseeing how Servion gathers and uses data across its business units to ensure more accurate tracking of how priority projects contribute to the organization’s strategic goals. By identifying and tracking key KPIs, Servion will strengthen its ability to track progress on strategic initiatives in real-time, ensuring that each business unit is focused on the right activities to deliver best products and services to our members.
According to Nowak, to be a sustainable partner for members of credit unions and small banks, Servion needs to remain continually relevant and always have its eye towards evolution and responsiveness to industry trends and challenges. In his role, he’ll work with Servion’s leadership team to ensure the organization is continually looking for creative ways to fill the gaps that partners are experiencing, evaluating potential new product development, and putting new processes in place to improve efficiency and collaboration, respond to evolving industry trends or help partners solve challenges. As Servion continues its strong growth trajectory, this forward-thinking approach is an exciting next step in the organization’s journey.
